Job Description:
The Co-Op position assists all team members of a project or generating site. This position is a multiple semester rotation through various power plants where experience will be gained in field work, project management, and leadership.
Job Responsibilities:
- Attend daily Plan of the Day meetings
- Research and evaluate continuous improvement ideas
- Work with site personnel to develop small capital projects
- Study TVA program and procedures to build technical competencies
- Assist Technical Service Analysts with inspections and predictive maintenance technologies
- Provide support for outage planning and execution
- Gain familiarity with mechanical and electrical design practices
- Assist site Engineers as needed in routine plant support
- Interface with site Operations/Technicians to learn plant operation and maintenance
Job Requirements:

- Safety mindset and awareness.
- Have reached the age of 18 years old
Qualification & Experience:
- May be required to obtain and maintain a security clearance based on position, access requirements and essential job functions
- Maintain a GPA of 2.75 or higher
- Currently majoring in an Engineering discipline from an ABET accredited college or university
- Must have completed at least 30 hours of college coursework
- Currently enrolled as a full time student
