Job Description:
Position Star Community Health as a socially responsible health care provider organization in the diverse underserved minority, immigrant, and low-income communities. An individual in this role will work by promoting Star Community Health services as well as develop and coordinate a comprehensive strategy that help the communities to gain easy access to care at our health centers via relationship building, branding efforts, event organization and collaboration with community partners.
Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare weekly/monthly business plans, monthly events calendars, and order supplies for events.
- Develop a community engagement content strategic plan.
- Work to develop marketing and branding events and presentations at Family Day events, Faith-Based groups, Town-Hall Meeting, Community
- Fairs, Health Fairs, Festivals, and other venues to help increase utilization of Star Community Health services.
- Create engaging content for all platforms, including blog pieces, articles, social media posts, newsletters, and videos.
- Engage with the online community and respond to comments and requests.
- Relay community feedback to relevant internal stakeholders.
- Analyze web traffic and relevant community metrics.
- Work as the point person with elected officials to help develop partnerships and collaboration at events and programs.
- Serve as the Public Relations person to help identify opportunities to promote Star Community Health’s services and make presentations to the relevant organizations.
- Design and create graphics and campaigns for company social media platforms.
- Gather and present the feedback and opinions obtained from internal and external to help improve the name/reputation of Star Community
- Health and patient satisfaction and to better the service quality.
- Use social media to promote Star Community Health, find information about community events, and connect with community organizations.
- Create a master event calendar and coordinate with community partners and relevant parties to organize and promote services, screenings, events, presentations, and other opportunities.
- Plan and organize internal and external community events, including creating flyers, sending invitations to partners or elected officials, and following up, coordinating equipment and other logistics for the event.
Job Requirements:
- Must be able and available to work evenings and weekends.
- Willing to travel.
- Excellent organizational skills
- Proficient in Google Analytics
- Must have strong communication and writing skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Edge, Teams, Excel/Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required
- Knowledge of marketing trends and techniques
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Edge, Teams, Excel/Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook is required.
- Healthcare work experience is necessary.

- 3+ years in Community Relations or Community Affairs
