Analytical support activities include resource planning, performance management, scheduling, design and construction contractor activities, project/program management, regulatory compliance, and general administrative functions within the Grid.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provide analytical support and recommendation to the Local Design function related to: Joint Pole Agreement, Environmental, Permit Tracking,
  • Notification Generation for Work Initiation (E3), Grouping Deteriorated Poles, Creating Work Orders and Opening Projects in Design Manager, perform quality checks on work order packages, tracking and forwarding of Deteriorated Pole Packages, Material Ordering with Field Account
  • Organization, Contractor Submittal Tracking & Estimator.
  • Work with Construction & Technical Support (CT&S) Program/Project Manager and Estimators related to contract activities, project scheduling, status, Supplier Portal service confirmations and Ariba invoice que management.
  • Provide end to end complex analytical support and recommendations where forecasting, tracking, trending, research, data gathering, plan development and reporting is required relating to the execution of long- and short-term forecast
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
  • Provide analytical support and recommendations to Construction & Technical Support (CT&S) Grid Management and Senior Patrolman responsible for managing and executing Transmission Inspection and Maintenance Program regulatory compliance work.
  • Research, gather data, analyze, and provide recommendation with Grid Scorecard Performance Action Plans.
  • Perform tracking, research, data gathering, and plan development relating to Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Program compliance with design approvals, program/project date management, document retention, and report updates.
  • Work with Operations & Grid Management with development and implementation of operational crew scheduling activities with Primavera Program (P6) support, data updating, and maintenance.
  • Resource planning operational strategies to ensure an effective allocation of resources to meet required workload, inspections, maintenance, system projects, capital projects and programs, and compliance issues that have a direct impact on operational and financial performance.
  • Promote a safety conscious work environment by proactively engaging in Edison safety policies, protocols, and safe work practices.

Job Requirements:

  • General knowledge of safety and environmental standards.
  • Create and edit complex reports, graphs, and presentations, using advanced software/system functions, and generating non-standard reports from business applications/databases such as SAP and Access.
  • Adjust to changing workloads and follow up as necessary on multiple projects with minimal supervision.
  • Detailed analysis, investigating and resolving problems, drawing conclusions from complex data and information, and presenting results to key stakeholders.
  • Integrate work across relevant areas, develop the business and services to enhance customer satisfaction and productivity, manage risks appropriately, manage information, and provide exceptional service to internal and external customers.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Experience collaborating in cross-functional groups including peers, clients, management, and other organizations.
  • Experience in project management fundamentals, including planning, tracking, monitoring, and performance reporting to ensure timely completion of projects and assignments.
