Job Description:
To serve students and the College through teaching, advising and developing new courses and programs as well as participating on college/division committees.
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in outcomes assessment and activities at the course/department/instructional level
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
- In addition to daytime courses, you may be expected to have evening/weekend assignments
- Design/develop/evaluate curriculum including the update of Course Activity Proposals/Degree Sheets
- Plan and teach all levels of Occupational Therapy
- Fulfill all full-time faculty responsibilities as stipulated in the faculty contract
- Hold office hours at all times classes are in session
- Provide academic advisement
- Serve on at least one (1) college/school committee
- Incorporate and utilize technology in the classroom
- Maintain academic and/or professional currency/credentials
Job Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from a College or University accredited by the US Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization.
- At least two year’s experience as an Academic Fieldwork Coordinator supervising OTA students.
- Must be in an accredited OTA program. College level teaching experience in the discipline.
