Job Description:
You will evaluate inventory tracking systems through all outlets of the PLCB and reconcile numbers with manufacturing centers to ensure accurate reporting. You will also manage landed cost items including analyzing freight, duty vs accrual freight, duty and adjustments outside tolerance for previous day postings, and close freight or duty for non-billed items.
Job Responsibilities:
- The PA Liquor Control Board is seeking a highly motivated professional Accountant 3 to join the PLCB team.
- As an Accountant 3, you will be responsible for overseeing and analyzing cost expenditures and purchases within the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board (PLCB).
- This position will also review services and goods, record data, and make recommendations about cost-efficient and financially feasible cost options.

Qualification & Experience:
- One year as an Accountant 2; OR three years of progressively responsible professional accounting experience, and graduation from a four-year college or university, including or supplemented by fifteen credits in accounting.
- Four years of bookkeeping experience and fifteen college credits in accounting may be substituted for college graduation.
- A Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field may be substituted for one year of general work experience.
- This position also requires a minimum of three years of full-time professional experience in cost accounting.
