Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Transmission Line Worker C 1/C at a starting pay rate of $43.07 in the Buffalo area. Under direct supervision in line construction and maintenance on electric transmission circuits above 69 kV to patrol and inspect transmission lines for faulty operation; assist line workers of higher grade in the various line associated tasks including working on energized circuits.
Job Requirements:

Must have a valid drivers license

Must have a high school diploma

Must hold a valid NYS CDL Class A license (or ability to obtain one within 6 months).

Should have the ability to progress to Live Line Bare Hand Specialist.

Must have passed the validated aptitude test.

Must have passed the validated Physical Abilities Evaluation.

Must have good knowledge of transmission line practices and standards.
- Should have three years’ experience as a Transmission Line Worker or equivalent, determined solely by management.
