Job Description:
The Aircraft Maintenance Technician is responsible for accomplishing maintenance and repairs to the Endeavor aircraft fleet in strict accordance with the approved maintenance program and Federal Aviation Regulations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Services and inspects aircraft, components and related equipment.
- Determines airworthiness of aircraft and components, in accordance with established procedures and Federal Aviation Regulations.
- A uniform is required, Endeavor provides a uniform allowance.
- Requires direct contact with local leadership and on occasion with senior management.
- Physical exertion such as: pulling, pushing, reaching, bending, standing, walking and light lifting not to exceed 50 lbs.
- Must be able to use ladders, work stands, and lifts to gain access to all part of the aircraft in the performance of maintenance.
- Responsible to maintain a clean, orderly and safe work area.
- Demonstrate behavior in accordance with Endeavor Air Code of Conduct.
- Performs sheet metal and structures repairs of aircraft skin and airframes.
- Performs safe aircraft movement, including manual towing and movement under power (run/taxi) in accordance with established procedures.
- Operates and inspects powered and non-powered ground equipment.
- Must not have any medical conditions that preclude certification of aircraft run/taxi qualifications or prevent the safe operation of ground equipment and vehicles.
- Completes aircraft maintenance forms as required and makes appropriate and accurate entries into the Aircraft Maintenance Data System.
- Work is performed at airport gate locations, hangar facilities, and at outstation locations when assigned to maintenance road trips.
- Responsible for preventative maintenance and repair of aircraft and components in accordance with Endeavor Air approved maintenance program.
- Demonstrate a high level of focus on customer service.
Job Requirements:
- Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and overtime, as assigned.
- Must hold a valid Airframe and Power Plant mechanics license.
- Previous work experience as an aviation mechanic is preferred, but not required.
- Must possess valid driver’s license, be insurable under company insurance policies, and able to satisfy local airport requirements to obtain and maintain airport driving privileges.
- Ability to travel internationally for the purpose of training and/or maintenance road trips is required. Passport is required within three (3) months of hire date.
- Some domestic travel required.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks with a high degree of attention to detail.
- Previous experience with CRJ regional aircraft (CRJ200/700/900) is highly preferred, but not required.
- Strong work ethic, reliable, self-motivated, positive attitude, and a high degree of customer focus is required.
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
Qualification & Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
