Job Description:
Incumbents in this position enforce local, state and federal laws and FAA regulations at St. Louis Lambert International Airport.
Job responsibilities:
- Duties include patrolling assigned areas, making arrests, conducting investigations and appearing in court as needed.
- Positions require shift, weekend and holiday assignments.
- Candidates must provide their availability for shift and weekend assignments on the Availability section of the Employment Application.
Job Requirements:
- Due to Federal and State regulations, applicants must be at least 21 years of age at the time of filing application.
- Must be certified as a Police Officer by the State of Missouri and deputized as a Police Officer by St. Louis County, Missouri by completion of the working test period.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Missouri driver’s license while employed by the City of St. Louis.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license at the time of filing application and be able to present it at upon request.
- Please note type of license, number, class and expiration date on the Employment Application.
Qualification & Experience:
- A high school diploma or General Educational Development (G.E.D.) certificate.
