Job Description:
We seek candidates with outstanding teaching skills, a professional educator license, experience with secondary education programs and accreditation, evidence of a potential for or a distinguished record of scholarship, as well as community service via projects, committee and/or leadership roles. Preference will be given to those individuals dedicated to teaching and mentoring women, first generation university students, non-traditional students, and students of color.
Job Responsibilities:

Duties of the successful applicant will include teaching and oversight of secondary science education for the biology and chemistry teacher education programs.

This position will involve student teacher oversight and responsibility for accreditation documents; teaching courses in the BS and MS programs in biology (course content may include biodiversity, botany, and/or systematics); and research in science, or science education.

New faculty at GSU must demonstrate enthusiasm and ability to work with students at all levels, from first-year to graduate.
Job Requirements:
- Earned doctorate in Early Childhood 2. Experience in creating online courses 3. Ability to teach on-campus, hybrid, and/or online courses in Early Childhood
- Education/Education 4. Hold or have held a Professional Educator’s License (PEL)
- Advanced training in building online courses
- Quality Matters Certified
- Experience teaching undergraduate and graduate courses
- Experience in curriculum development
- Experience teaching underrepresented students
