Job Description Summary The Turbine Aerodynamics Engineer will report to the Military Turbomachinery Aerodynamics manager and be responsible for designing GE Aviation’s next generation of turbine components and associated technologies. Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design aerodynamic turbine components and technology
- Analyze component and engine test data to validate aerodynamic designs
- Develop analytical tools / software to improve aerodynamic design and predictive capabilities
- Implement plans to achieve technical and program requirements
- Develop lean processes to improve job productivity and efficiency
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering from an accredited college or university
- Ability to maintain or obtain a Government Security Clearance
Desired Characteristics
- Any relevant turbomachinery aerodynamic design experience OR Master’s Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering relevant to turbomachinery aerodynamics
- Interest in being a self-starter, utilizing innovative problem solving and driving solutions
- Flexible, friendly, and inclusive approach to working in multi-disciplinary teams
- Proven group facilitation and collaboration skills
- Exceptional communication skills
- Highly motivated and passionate

This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. GE will require proof of status prior to employment.
