Job Description:

This position is responsible for all duties associated with and related to the safe, efficient and cost effective installation and maintenance of natural gas facilities and appurtenances on both transmission and distribution natural gas systems.

Job Responsibilities:

• Basic natural gas distribution/transmission work
• Performs manual work requiring physical strength including:
• Basic CP checks
• Pipe locating
• Leak detection / classification
• Valve maintenance
• Installation and maintenance of natural gas piping and systems.
• Operate, transport, maintain, and make minor repairs to: air compressors, pneumatic tools, and other small job related equipment used in handling and installing maintaining gas piping systems to include soil classification.
• Other duties as assigned.
