Job Description:

The Plumber is responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing plumbing systems, fixtures and equipment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Repairs and installs sanitary pumps, storm pumps and domestic water pumps
• Operates various equipment including but not limited to: hand and power tools, sewer jetting machine (jet rodder), power vacuum, etc.
• Reads and follows blueprints to install or evaluate new/existing systems
• Repairs and installs fixtures, trim, sinks, water closets, urinals, fire hydrants, underground irrigation and fire suppression
• Performs preventive and predictive inspections of plumbing systems
• Layout and installation of piping, fixtures, and equipment
• Performs other similar and related duties as required or directed
• Responds to service calls, customer complaints, and emergency plumbing issues

Job Requirements:

• ST of MI Driver License and a safe, acceptable driving record. If current driver’s license is issued in another state, a Michigan driver’s license must be obtained within four (4) months of job start date. (within 120 Days)
• 3 or more years of experience installing, maintaining and repairing plumbing systems, fixtures and equipment.
• High School Diploma or Certificate of High School Equivalency
• ST of MI Plumber Journeyman
