City of Houston Internships (Employment Hiring) – Management Analyst III

Job Description:

The City of Houston’s Housing and Community Development Department (HCDD) seeks to create a city in which every resident has an affordable home in a community where they can thrive. Job Responsibilities:

  • Initiates end of affordability activities; engages Legal Department to prepare Release of Liens, Termination of Land Use Restrictive Agreements (LURA), or Termination of Restrictive Covenants.
  • Reconciles various loan servicing general ledger accounts; clears exceptions and resolves issues.
  • Generates and updates borrowers, owners, lenders, on information relevant to understanding the history of the projects.
  • Examines budget estimates for completeness, accuracy, and conformance with procedures and regulations; identifies unusual variances from prior year(s) results.
  • Conducts routine analyses of financial and operating statements. Determines cash flow position of the properties. Prepares written analysis and project expectations.
  • Inputs loan servicing information and documentation into OnBase and SharePoint systems. Ensures actions, transactions, and records are properly recorded and stored in appropriate technical systems and records management files/systems.
  • Generates loan confirmations, invoices, notifications and statements of accounts. Processes and monitors loan payments, payoffs and adjustments.
  • Confirms compliance with performance, reporting requirements, and payment of insurance premiums, taxes, loan payments, and replacement reserves.

Job Requirements:

  • Prior work experience managing multiple projects, priorities, completing deadlines and adapting to changing production requirements and schedules.
  • Demonstrated analytical abilities with experience in collecting, analyzing, and presenting data to drive decisions.
  • Prior work experience using Microsoft Office, OnBase and SharePoint, and SAP.
