Job Description:
Applications under this job opportunity announcement will be considered under external competitive procedures only. This is a Term Appointment, initial appointment is not to exceed thirteen months. Term Appointments may be extended up to a total of 4 years.
Job Responsibilities:
- Determine the appropriate resolution and take action necessary to obtain statistical accuracy.
- Receive inquiries from respondents, assist when possible and refer those that are non-routine to higher grade technician or appropriate analyst.
- Recognize out-of-tolerance items, inconsistencies between items, data reporting errors, and data entry errors.
- Contact respondents to collect data, and perform analysis of statistical data in relation to previously reported data, resolve questionable data response.
- Code a variety of technical documents according to established classification characteristics.
Job Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and suitable for Federal employment.
- Must be registered for the Selective Service, if applicable (www.sss.gov).
