Job Description And Duties
INDICATE 02-3-095 ON APPLICATION
Positions support our winter operations and are intermittent, seasonal and on call only, with a maximum of 1,500 hours of work per year.
Candidates must meet the minimum qualifications and possess a valid, unrestricted Class A driver’s license with Tan(N) endorsement. Operate various types of specialty trucks and equipment used to perform snow and ice control. Perform work in extremely cold weather conditions, perform heavy manual labor, traffic control and chain control functions. Candidate may be working for other supervisors and/or work units depending on operational needs. Candidate may be required to respond within 30 minutes. Employment is contingent upon the candidate holding requisite skills for the position; being successful in the interview process; passing a pre-employment medical physical and a pre-employment drug test. Applicant must have passed the examination and be reachable on the current list for this classification.

Special Requirements
- The position(s) require(s) a valid California Drivers License (CDL). You must answer the questions addressing your CDL on your application. Ensure you provide your CDL number, class, expiration date, and any endorsements and/or restrictions.
- The position(s) require(s) a Drug Screening be passed prior to being hired.
- The position(s) require(s) a valid unrestricted Class A commercial driver’s license, with Tank Vehicle (N) endorsement.
